The Premier Morgans Experience

Premier Morgans is a training and assisted boarding facility, located in Northeast Ohio. This family owned and operated farm prides itself in catering to the needs and abilities of each individual horse and rider.  With years of experience, we enjoy the challenges of young stock to seasoned show horses in all disciplines. So whether you or you horse are new or experienced, at Premier Morgans it all about the ride.

Kelli Dreher, Owner/Trainer

As owner and head trainer at Premier Morgans, Kelli Dreher uses her over 15 years of experience to produce high quality show horses in all disciplines.  Kelli began riding at age 11 and excelled in not only Saddle Seat, but also Hunt Seat, Jumping and Western.  She competed for approximately 3 years as a Junior Exhibitor, ranking in the top 5 at the national level.  At age 14 she earned a silver medal in Saddle Seat Equitation.

The experience needed to run her own training facility was obtained through over a decade of work as an apprentice/assistant trainer for a then top Morgan trainer.  She also had the opportunity to work with other trainers, furthering her understanding of working and finishing top show horses.  Because she has enjoyed every aspect of owning and training horses, Kelli also attended many classes and continuing education programs in breeding, foaling, equine nutrition, and equine disease. She served as a foaling attendant for several years and has successfully foaled many babies.  For the past 10 years, Kelli has been involved in breeding, raising, training, showing, and selling horses from her farm, producing quality Park, English Pleasure, Classic Pleasure, Hunt, Western and Driving Show Morgans, as well as well-suited family horses.

Kelli began her instructing career at age 15 and eventually taught for the Equine Programs at Baldwin-Wallace College and Oberlin College, both located in Northeast Ohio.  In addition to training horses at home, Kelli served as the riding instructor at Memory Lane Farm.  During that time she started and continues to run the North Eastern Ohio Academy Riders Program.  She has organized many Academy Level shows and through the years as produced as many as 75 high point riders.  Last fall she had the opportunity to relocate her lesson program to her home facility and started the Premier Riding Academy and Lesson Program.  She currently teaches over 20 students including both beginner and advanced riders.
